We are now looking for an Air Freight Country Manager to join our team in Aarhus.

As our new Air Freight Country Manager you'll be responsible for helping advance and execute the overall Maersk Air strategy. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, and be responsible for the financial (P&L) and operational oversight, leadership, direction and overall Air operations management at a country level and ensure that growth and profitability goals and objectives are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee, lead, direct and mange the fiscal and overall operations at a country level to ensure that growth and profitability goals and objectives are met

  • Plan and implement appropriate resources at country level (staffing, training, equipment, and systems) to ensure contractual compliance and delivery of quality services that meet and exceed the customer’s expectations

  • Leading the management of expectations for country operations leaders, facilitates communication on business requirements and establishes critical performance metrics

  • Provide the Air country operation’s team with daily guidance, leadership and overall support on any issues relating to operations, communication, revenue enhancement, human resources, procedures standardization, systems applications, and process execution.

  • Work collaboratively with Business Process Excellence, customer experience, Areas, Platform and Tech corporate administration to ensure efficient operations.

  • Develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of service profit and growth

  • Develop customer relationships and ensure that customer service and operational levels within the country operations are maintained

  • Oversee and manage the professional development and productivity of direct reports to ensure proper goals, training, professional development and project requirements are met

  • Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal study, reading business and professional publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations
