Through our internal training program d'Anglecademy, you will get the best conditions for development and success as well as an in-depth knowledge of the entire hotel, which, in addition to the city's most beautiful ballrooms, includes the Michelin restaurant Marchal, Balthazar Champagne Bar, the delicacy shop Maison, the design shop Creations, and the Amazing Space spa department.


As our Banquet Sales Manager, you will have the overall responsibility of our meetings & events for our private and corporate clients ranging from engagement parties, weddings, and birthdays to meetings, conferences, and product launches, in our intimate meeting rooms or historic grand Palm Court. You will have the opportunity to put your mark on the d´Angleterre events by bringing in leadership, structure, innovation and lead our dedicated Banquet Sales team, strengthen their competences, and focus on their wellbeing and development. You will have a key role between the in-house operational team and the external clients regarding offers, contracts, details, and confirmations. You will master all the sales aspects of the role including lead qualifications, onsite sales (site inspection), pricing, negotiation for B2B and B2C groups and events.

The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the grand overview of and participating in all aspects of the department's tasks - from the first contact to evaluation and follow-up on events.
  • Ensuring that the budgets for the banquet and event department are met.
  • Developing new event concepts that strengthen the d'Angleterre brand.
  • Revenue management.
  • Team management including training and development of the team.


The job is for you, who comes from a similar position in the luxury event or hotel industry with knowledge and experience in building and managing a team to drive clear results. You are a person with excellent communication skills - preferably in both Scandinavian and English, who thrives in an international environment with a high pace. You enjoy the role of leader within your own team and across departments and you can coordinate across the hotel while having a keen eye for details, which is essential when planning major events. You have an innovative luxury mindset when it comes to bringing ideas and luxury experiences for our guests, and you possibly also have an in-depth knowledge of the hotel and restaurant industry. You take pride in representing Denmark's finest hotel and understand the commitments that come with being the country's only 5 Star Superior Luxury Hotel part of the Leading Hotels of the World – and what it takes to work with VIP clients and high-end events.


The position is full-time, and start is as soon as possible. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis until the right candidate is found.
